Account Setup: Configure Your Hitorino Creator Profile
Complete your Hitorino creator profile, connect social accounts, configure monetization, and secure your account with two-factor authentication.
A well-configured account is the foundation of a successful channel on Hitorino. This guide walks you through every setting you should configure after creating your account — from completing your public creator profile and connecting your social accounts to locking down your account with two-factor authentication. Taking 15 minutes to complete these steps now will save you time later and give new viewers a polished first impression.
Before you can access creator features, you need to confirm the email address associated with your account. Hitorino sends a verification email automatically when you sign up.
1
Find the verification email
Check the inbox of the email address you used during sign-up. The email arrives from noreply@hitorino.tv with the subject “Confirm your Hitorino account”. If you do not see it within a couple of minutes, check your spam or promotions folder.
2
Click the confirmation link
Open the email and click Confirm email address. You are redirected back to Hitorino and your account is immediately activated. The link is valid for 24 hours.
3
Resend the link if needed
If the link has expired or you deleted the email, log in and navigate to Settings → Account → Email. Click Resend verification email to receive a fresh link.
Features including live streaming, video uploads, enabling subscriptions, and receiving payouts are locked until your email is verified. Do not skip this step.
Your creator profile is what viewers see when they land on your channel. A complete profile — with a clear photo, descriptive bio, and recognizable banner — significantly increases the chance that a first-time visitor becomes a follower or subscriber.
Go to Dashboard → Channel → Profile. This page controls everything on the public-facing version of your channel.
2
Upload a profile picture
Click the profile picture area and select an image from your computer. Requirements:
Format: JPG or PNG
Recommended size: 400 × 400 px
Maximum file size: 5 MB
Your profile picture appears in search results, the Discover feed, live chat, and anywhere your channel is mentioned across the platform. Choose something that is clearly recognizable at small sizes — a close-up headshot or a clean logo works best.
3
Upload a channel banner
Click the banner area and select a wide image. Requirements:
Format: JPG or PNG
Recommended size: 1440 × 400 px
Maximum file size: 10 MB
Keep important visual elements — your name, tagline, or logo — away from the edges of the banner. On mobile screens the banner is cropped to a narrower aspect ratio and the outer edges are hidden.
Enter a Display name in the field provided. Unlike your username, your display name can include spaces, emoji, and mixed case — and you can change it at any time. It appears on your channel page, in the live feed, and in chat.
2
Write your channel bio
Your bio appears below your display name on your channel page. Aim for 2–4 sentences that clearly explain what you stream, when you go live, and what makes your channel worth following. The bio field supports plain text only and has a 500-character limit.
3
Add your streaming schedule
In the Schedule field, enter your typical streaming days and times — for example, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 PM EST. This field is displayed prominently on your channel page and helps viewers plan when to tune in.
4
Save your profile
Click Save changes. Your profile updates are published to your public channel page immediately.
Linking your social accounts to Hitorino lets viewers find your other communities, and it unlocks cross-posting features that make it easier to promote new videos and upcoming streams.
1
Open social settings
Go to Settings → Account → Connected accounts.
2
Connect your accounts
Click Connect next to each platform you want to link. You are redirected to that platform’s authorization page. After approving access, you are returned to Hitorino and the account shows as connected.Hitorino supports connections to the following platforms:
YouTube
X (Twitter)
Instagram
TikTok
Twitch
Connecting an account does not grant Hitorino permission to post on your behalf unless you separately enable the Auto-promote feature for that platform under Dashboard → Channel → Promotion.
3
Choose which links appear on your channel
After connecting, toggle the Show on channel switch for each account you want displayed publicly on your channel page. Unlinked or hidden accounts are not visible to viewers.
Enter a monthly subscription price. Hitorino supports prices between 1.99and49.99 per month. Choose a price that reflects the value of your subscriber-only content.
Creators who are just starting out typically find success at 4.99–9.99/month. You can raise your price later — existing subscribers are notified and given a 30-day grace period before the new price takes effect.
3
Write your subscription pitch
In the Benefits description field, list what subscribers get for their support — for example: subscriber-only VODs, early access to videos, a Discord role, or a shoutout in your next stream. Be specific: vague benefits convert poorly.
4
Enable subscriptions
Toggle Enable subscriptions to on and click Save. A Subscribe button now appears on your channel page.
Set a minimum tip amount between 1.00and10.00. Tips below this threshold are not processed. A minimum of 2.00or3.00 helps offset payment processing fees.
3
Customize the tip prompt
Write a short message (up to 100 characters) that appears in the tip panel for viewers — for example, Support the stream! Tips show in chat with your message.
4
Enable tips
Toggle Enable tips to on and click Save. The tip panel appears in the chat sidebar automatically during all of your live streams.
Go to Settings → Payouts → Connect payout account.
2
Complete identity verification
Hitorino uses Stripe for payouts and requires identity verification to comply with financial regulations. Click Start verification and follow the prompts to submit your legal name, date of birth, address, and a government-issued ID.
Identity verification is handled entirely by Stripe and is required by law for any creator receiving payments. Hitorino does not store your ID document — it is processed and verified by Stripe directly.
3
Add your bank account or card
After verification, add the bank account or debit card you want payouts sent to. Payouts are processed on the 1st and 15th of each month for any balance above $25.00.
Go to Settings → Security → Password and click Change password.
2
Enter your current and new password
Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm. Your new password must be at least 12 characters. Using a password manager to generate a random password is strongly recommended.
3
Save your new password
Click Update password. You are logged out of all other active sessions automatically as a security measure.
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of protection to your account. Even if someone obtains your password, they cannot log in without access to your second factor.
1
Open 2FA settings
Go to Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication and click Set up 2FA.
2
Choose your 2FA method
Hitorino supports two methods:
Authenticator app (recommended) — Use an app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password to generate time-based one-time codes.
SMS — Receive a one-time code by text message. This is less secure than an authenticator app but is better than no 2FA at all.
3
Set up an authenticator app
If you choose the authenticator app method:
Open your authenticator app and tap Add account or the + button.
Scan the QR code displayed on the Hitorino setup page, or manually enter the setup key shown beneath it.
Your app generates a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.
Enter the current code into the Verification code field on Hitorino and click Enable 2FA.
4
Save your backup codes
After enabling 2FA, Hitorino generates 10 single-use backup codes. Download or print these codes and store them somewhere secure — for example, a password manager or a printed sheet in a safe place. You can use a backup code to access your account if you ever lose access to your second factor.
If you lose access to your second factor and do not have backup codes, account recovery requires manual identity verification with Hitorino support and can take several business days. Store your backup codes securely.
You will see a list of all devices and browsers currently logged into your account, including approximate location, browser type, and last activity time.
3
Revoke unknown sessions
If you see a session you do not recognize, click Revoke next to it. To log out of every device at once, click Revoke all other sessions at the bottom of the list.
