Searching for Creators and Streams

Use the search bar at the top of any page to find specific creators, video titles, or keywords.
1

Open the search bar

Click the magnifying glass icon in the top navigation, or press / on your keyboard to focus the search field instantly.
2

Type your query

Enter a creator name, stream title, game, topic, or any keyword. Results appear in a live dropdown as you type — no need to press Enter for quick lookups.
3

Browse full results

Press Enter or click See all results to open the full search results page, where you can filter by content type.
4

Filter your results

On the results page, use the tabs at the top to narrow results to Creators, Live Streams, Videos, or Categories.
Search indexes creator bios, stream titles, video descriptions, and tags — so searching “lo-fi beats” will surface creators who tag their content that way, even if those words aren’t in their name.

Browsing by Category

Categories are the broadest way to explore content by topic. Hitorino maintains a curated list of categories, each with its own dedicated page. To browse categories:
  1. Click Browse in the top navigation bar.
  2. Select Categories from the dropdown menu.
  3. Choose any category card to open its dedicated page.
  4. On the category page, sort content by Viewers, Recent, or Alphabetical using the sort control in the top-right corner.
Popular categories include Gaming, Music, Just Chatting, Art & Design, Sports & Fitness, Learning, Food & Cooking, and Travel.
Each category page shows both live streams currently active and on-demand videos tagged with that category, so you always have something to watch regardless of time zone.

Filtering with Tags

Tags are creator-defined keywords that describe their content more specifically than categories alone. Think of categories as genres and tags as sub-genres.
Tags appear as clickable pills on every stream card, video thumbnail, and creator profile. Click any tag to open a tag search results page showing all content across the platform that uses that tag.You can also type a # followed by a tag name directly in the search bar — for example, #speedrun or #lofi — to jump straight to that tag’s page without going through the full search flow.
On any category page, a Tags filter panel appears on the left sidebar. Select one or more tags to narrow the content shown on that category page. Multiple selected tags are combined with AND logic, so only content matching all selected tags appears.

Following Creators

Following a creator adds their streams and uploads to your home feed and sends you notifications when they go live.
1

Visit a creator's channel

Click a creator’s name or avatar from any stream card, search result, or recommendation shelf to open their channel page.
2

Click Follow

Click the Follow button below the creator’s banner image. The button turns purple and shows a checkmark to confirm you’re now following them.
3

Set notification preferences

After following, click the bell icon next to the Follow button to choose your alert style: All Notifications (live alerts + new uploads), Live Only, or None.
You can manage all your followed creators at once from Your Profile → Following. From there you can sort by most-watched, re-order your sidebar list, and bulk-unfollow creators you no longer watch.

Adding Content to Your Watchlist

Your watchlist is a personal save-for-later list for on-demand videos and upcoming streams you want to remember.
1

Save a video or stream

Hover over any video thumbnail or stream card and click the bookmark icon that appears, or open the content page and click Add to Watchlist next to the title.
2

Access your watchlist

Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select Watchlist, or navigate to hitorino.tv/watchlist directly.
3

Organize your watchlist

Drag items to reorder them, or use the Sort dropdown to arrange by date added, creator name, or estimated duration.
4

Remove items

Hover over any saved item and click the × icon, or open the item and click Remove from Watchlist.
Your watchlist syncs across all your devices automatically. Save something on your phone and it’ll be waiting on your TV app when you get home.
While watching any stream or browsing any page, the left sidebar shows a live list of the creators you follow, with colored indicators showing who is currently live.
  • 🔴 Red dot — creator is live right now
  • No dot — creator is offline
  • Clock icon — creator has a scheduled stream starting soon
Click any creator’s name in the sidebar to jump directly to their channel without navigating away from what you’re doing.
